We are looking for an
RF ENGINEERING SUPPORT TECHNICIAN
to join our engineering organization on-site in Espoo.
As an RF Engineering Support Technician, you will play a key hands-on role in supporting our engineering team with RF test setups, returned products, troubleshooting, prototype builds and laboratory activities. Working closely with our design engineers, you will help prepare and maintain test configurations, support RMA investigations, assist with hands-on assembly and rework, and contribute to keeping our laboratory organised, practical and effective.
In this role, you will:
Build, assemble and rework RF prototypes together with our design engineers, including PCB population, cable assembly and mechanical integration, while helping to refine assembly instructions and documentation.
Keep our laboratory running smoothly by maintaining tools, equipment, stock levels and a safe, well-organised working environment.
Support RF and antenna measurements by preparing test setups, executing predefined measurements and maintaining test equipment.
Investigate returned products, perform first-line fault finding and support production and manufacturing partners with technical challenges.
Contribute to continuous improvements by developing lab processes, simple tooling, documentation and testing capabilities.
What we are looking for
We're looking for an RF-minded, hands-on technical professional who enjoys working close to the product and turning ideas into working solutions. You may come from RF assembly, electronics manufacturing, production or a laboratory environment.
To succeed in this role, you have:
An educational background in relevant technical field (vocational or bachelor's level).
Hands-on experience with RF assembly, electronics manufacturing or production, combined with confidence in mechanical work and prototype assembly.
A practical, analytical approach—you enjoy troubleshooting technical challenges as much as working with tools and hardware.
Good English communication skills. Finnish is considered an advantage.
Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office, and the ability to work with laboratory and measurement software.
Experience with MATLAB, Python or similar scripting tools is a plus, but not a requirement. Above all, you're curious, proactive and eager to develop your skills in RF testing while working closely with experienced design engineers.
Due to the nature and timing of the role, we are currently considering candidates who are already based in Finland and eligible to work here. Unfortunately, we are not able to offer relocation assistance.
What’s in it for you?
We offer you a stable and responsible role in a small but growing engineering organization, within a meaningful and technology-driven industry. In this role there is room to grow and take on more responsibilites through time.
The salary range for this position is roughly around 3500 € per month, depending on your previous experience and skills.
