We are now looking for a
TEST ENGINEER
In Espoo
What you will do
You will carry out hands-on hardware and mechanical testing for Savox’s products during the development phase. Your work focuses on practical test execution, preparing test setups, running defined test cases, documenting observations, and reporting findings clearly to the R&D team. You will help ensure that products are robust, reliable, and suitable for demanding operating conditions.
Your daily tasks include environmental, durability, mechanical, and hardware-related testing against relevant standards and defined requirements, analyzing test results, preparing test reports, and supporting root cause investigations together with design engineers. You may also participate in developing practical test methods and improving test setups, but the main focus of the role is on executing and documenting hands-on tests rather than owning the full test management scope.
You will be part of the R&D testing activities and work closely with mechanical, electronics, project, and compliance specialists.
What we are looking for
A suitable candidate holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or has an equivalent practical background in mechanical engineering, electronics, product development, or a related technical field. You already have a few years of hands-on experience in hardware, mechanical, product, or environmental testing. You are comfortable working with physical products, test equipment, measurement tools, prototypes, and technical documentation.
Experience with mechanical durability testing, environmental testing, test fixtures, measurement equipment, standards-based testing, and structured test reporting is highly relevant. Familiarity with electronics or electromechanical products is beneficial, and previous exposure to EMC, audio products, rugged devices, or working with external test laboratories is considered an advantage. We also value experience and existing contacts with external test labs that can support product testing and validation when needed. To succeed in this role, you are systematic, practical, quality-minded, and able to communicate findings clearly in English. Finnish skills are seen as an advantage.
What matters most is your ability to plan your own work, execute tests carefully, document results, and collaborate actively with engineers to solve technical issues.
The role requires residence in Finland and a security clearance may be needed later.

We offer clear goals and full support for your initiatives. At Savox, we work with cutting-edge technologies in a rapidly evolving industry. We offer stable employment with excellent professional development opportunities in a growing company.
