We are looking for a results-driven
SALES MANAGER
to accelerate the growth of our energy storage business in Scandinavia.
In this role, you will be responsible for selling Merus Power’s energy storage solutions across Scandinavia, with a particular focus on Sweden. You will operate in a fast-growing market of energy and investment projects, where solutions combine hardware, software and services. Your customers may include investors, project developers and energy companies, and you will succeed in the role by understanding their business needs and building technically and commercially strong solutions to support them.
You will join our European sales team, where you will be responsible for new customer acquisition, opening up the Scandinavian market. A key part of this role is to take ownership of existing CRM leads and sales cases, systematically progressing them through the sales pipeline and converting them into business. You will actively manage and develop opportunities in CRM, ensuring structured follow-up, clear prioritization and continuous deal progression.
In this role, you will drive sales processes for large-scale EPC projects, build and develop the sales pipeline, and actively participate in customer meetings, trade fairs and networking activities. You will also lead tender processes and contract negotiations in close collaboration with internal experts and other stakeholders.
The preferred location for this role is Helsinki, but also Merus Power’s headquarters in Ylöjärvi is possible. The role requires willingness to travel mainly within Scandinavia.
Do you have what it takes?
You will succeed in this role if you already have experience in B2B sales, particularly in technical solutions, projects or broader business entities. You are a results-driven sales professional with a proven track record of converting leads into closed deals in complex B2B project environments You have experience in customer-facing work, networking and contract negotiations, as well as the ability to manage several parallel processes in a systematic and detail-oriented way.
You are comfortable working with CRM systems as a core part of your daily work and have experience in managing sales pipelines in a structured and transparent way.
We are looking for a strong communicator with excellent language skills, as in addition to Finnish, fluent Swedish and English are essential in this role. Additional language skills, such as German, French or Spanish, are considered an advantage. You work independently and move things forward proactively, so we hope you bring a hungry and hands-on attitude, strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to spend time with customers in the field. This role suits someone who can keep multiple threads in hand even during long sales cycles and within large, complex projects.
You combine a proactive “hunter” mindset with the ability to systematically drive long and complex sales processes to closure.
