We are looking for a

(JUNIOR) RISK UNDERWRITER (Finnish & Swedish speaking)

to join our team in Stockholm

Would you like to build your career in credit risk analysis and international trade credit insurance? Coface is looking for a (Junior) Risk Underwriter to strengthen our Nordic Risk Underwriting team.

About the role

In this role, you will primarily focus on credit risk analysis of companies operating in Sweden, while also providing support credit decisions related to the Finnish market when needed. You will analyse companies’ financial situations, monitor risk portfolios/segments and participate in preparing credit decisions in accordance with Coface’s group guidelines.

You will work closely with colleagues in new business, account management and other risk management professionals. We offer comprehensive onboarding and the opportunity to develop your expertise within an international team of specialists.

This role provides an excellent vantage point into corporate risk, international business and credit risk management.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an analytical and motivated professional who wants to build a career in the credit insurance industry.

This role is well suited for someone at an early stage of their career with, for example, a Master’s degree in economics, finance or another relevant field. You may have recently graduated or already gained a few years of experience in banking, finance, insurance or analytical roles.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

✔ an interest in analysing companies’ financial performance and assessing risk
✔ strong analytical thinking and the ability to interpret financial data
✔ good collaboration and communication skills
✔ a willingness to learn and develop as an expert

In addition, we require fluent Finnish and Swedish language skills, as well as good proficiency in English.

This position is particularly suitable for candidates who have already moved from Finland to Stockholm or who are interested in relocating and working in an international environment.
