We are now looking for a
PRODUCTION ENGINEER
for our recently renovated factory in Jyväskylä
In this new position, you will play a key role in planning, coordinating, and managing the manufacturing processes used to produce our electronics-related products. Your first major task would be the establishment of a new cable assembly production line.
Your responsibilities include overseeing the use and sourcing of raw materials, analyzing production costs and processes, troubleshooting technical challenges, and evaluating product quality. You will design and implement efficient production systems that integrate people, machines, materials, information, and energy. Your work ensures that manufacturing processes run reliably, safely, and efficiently.
Who are we looking for?
You have experience in a production or manufacturing engineering role and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes and industrial best practices. Knowledge of plastics and material technology is highly appreciated, and experience in cable assembly would be a significant advantage for succeeding in this role.
We also value familiarity with lean manufacturing principles, experience with CAD software and other engineering tools, as well as an understanding of safety and quality regulations in a manufacturing environment.
You bring excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail. In this role, you need the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and communicate effectively (in both Finnish and English). Strong teamwork skills and a proactive approach to continuous improvement are essential.
