Merus Power is in 2008 established, Finnish technology company enabling a sustainable and energy-efficient future. We design, manufacture, and sell domestic innovative energy storage and power quality solutions and services. Power quality and energy storage benefits create winning business for our customers, increase revenue, save energy, and enable renewable energy grid integration. We are aiming for strong growth, especially in the energy storage market utilizing renewable energy. Our turnover in 2024 was 36 million euros. We are looking for an inspiring
HEAD OF MARKETING
to turn ideas into impact and build marketing that genuinely moves the business forward.
In this role, you’ll shape how marketing supports Merus Power’s growth in a fast-moving, technology-driven environment. You’re comfortable balancing a clear, structured way of working with curiosity, creativity, and the ability to see what really matters in the market. You like connecting the dots between customers, offerings, and opportunities — and you get energy from making those connections visible and actionable.
You’ll lead a small but capable marketing team and take ownership of the full marketing scope, from direction-setting to rolling up your sleeves when needed. You’ll work closely with our customers, sales, product management, and communications, making sure marketing efforts are aligned, relevant, and timely — and that Merus Power shows up in a way that feels confident, consistent, and credible.
Your work will span developing global marketing strategy and its execution, lead generation and development, market and competitor insights, product marketing, and the evolution of the Merus Power brand and customer experience. You’ll also oversee events, communications, and visual identity as one coherent whole, while continuously finding smarter and more effective ways of doing marketing.
What we expect from You
A relevant university degree in business, technology, or marketing/communications (or from another field supported by relevant professional experience)
Will to develop a holistic understanding of our business, customers and markets
Commitment to deliver impact as sales results that are derived from marketing actions
Energetic personality with creative ideas and initiative
Proven experience in leading a marketing function and building results-driven marketing
Ability to systematically build and develop customer journeys and marketing processes
Previous experience in leading and supporting teams
Excellent English skills; Finnish is a strong advantage for leading the team and working with key stakeholders
Motivation to grow in a fast-changing environment and drive initiatives forward with determination
Familiarity with the operating environment of technology companies and/or the energy sector
