We are now looking for a

SENIOR TEST ENGINEER

In Espoo (or Tampere)

In this role you are responsible for ensuring product quality early in the development lifecycle by planning, coordinating, and executing hands-on testing activities. Key tasks include defining and selecting test cases based on product requirements and relevant standards, performing physical tests and developing testing methods that strengthen product robustness. You will work closely with design, project and compliance teams to maintain testing visibility/ progress and resolve quality-related findings.

The position involves requirement analyzing, test case definition, hands-on testing as well as analyzing and documenting results. You will also help build scalable testing processes, coordinate testing activities, and contribute to the future development of our internal testing capabilities.

You will serve as the company’s key expert for development-phase testing, collaborating closely with R&D team.

Who are we looking for?

A suitable candidate holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree e.g. in mechanical or electronics engineering and has solid experience in product testing, ideally having owned a full testing scope or worked several years in hands-on testing. You are familiar with test standards, testing methods, test labs, and environmental testing. Experience with EMC, software testing, MIL standards, or audio testing is a plus.

You communicate well in at least in English and Finnish is seen as an advantage. Familiarity with different test management software and related tools is beneficial, and you bring practical and methodological insight into testing processes. To succeed in this role requires attention to details, the ability to manage multiple priorities under strict deadlines, and a strong, results-driven and self-motivated approach. A customer-oriented mindset, flexibility, and strong interpersonal skills are also essential.

The role requires residence in Finland and a security clearance may be needed later.
