How would it feel to work with products that save lives?
Now you have a great opportunity to dive into the world of communication controllers, headsets, active hearing protectors, and vehicle systems, as we are looking for
TWO PRODUCTION TESTER ENGINEERS
to join us in any of our offices in Finland.
Your main task is to develop and maintain testing solutions for our electronics manufacturing. You will work closely with our hardware and software designers to define and implement product verification processes. This entity includes e.g. developing and maintaining on-circuit and production testers, defining and implementing testing requirements in collaboration with product designers, ensuring efficient test data collections and analysis. You will also assemble and integrate testing equipment and conduct training for subcontractors and production teams on tester usage. Improving production testing process to support high-volume testing is something you put your hands at.
The people we are looking for can be with different backgrounds or competence focuses, so don’t get too intimidated with our requirements. You can either have a background from the electronics or software side, but also there is a possibility that you have gathered experience from both of them and more!
From the electronics side, we hope that you have done basic electronics design. If you have used Pads of Pad Pro, that will be seen as an advantage. We also hope that you have gained some electronics assembly skills either from previous work or free time activities from soldering and cable harness assembly.
From the software development side, we hope you have gathered experience of both Labview and TestStand since almost 90% of our existing testers are made with these and you must be able to maintain legacy systems. You’re able to Python for data analysis implementation for test results. We hope that you also have gained experience in controlling measurement devices via software and scripting and command execution for development tools.
We see as an advantage experience from mechanical design or 3D printing, machine vision implementations and ability to use Keysight Vee for updating usability of production testers.
Otherwise, we hope you have the ability to manage both small details and large-scale systems and adapt quickly to changing environments. You have great problem-solving skills, particularly for cause-and-effect analysis and understanding for optimization and efficiency improvements. You’re able to work with both Finnish and English verbally and in writing and travelling in Finland between our offices is not a problem for you.
Our team thrives on cooperation and active communication as we work towards a common goal with our heads together. We hope you are willing and able to work on-site at our office in Tampere, Espoo, Jyväskylä or Savonlinna. Please tell us which of our offices you prefer.
We offer you a versatile role involving multiple stakeholders. You will have the opportunity to work with all our products, which are interesting and diverse - every manufactured product goes through the testers you work with.
Are you interested in working in a diverse and meaningful role where you can learn and make an impact? Our team has a relaxed and straightforward atmosphere. You will fit in well if you can tolerate occasional bad jokes. We work together and are always happy to help out a teammate. We work ambitiously and set our goals high, as we are making the world safer! We offer good benefits for employment, a flexible work culture, and remote work possibilities.
Would you like to be part of our story?
